On March 9, 2017, “Jingdong On-site Meeting on Packaging Innovation”, jointly presented by M.Success Media’s packaging team and China Packaging Federation’s user committee, was successfully held. Jingdong Mall is the largest integrated Internet retailer in China, and also one of the most popular and influential e-commerce websites in the Chinese e-commerce field. It provides the online sales of 12 categories, tens of thousands of brands and millions of high-quality products, including household appliances, digital communication products, computers, household articles, clothes, mommy & baby products, books, food, online tourism products, etc.

This event was conducted mainly with regard to the three major demands proposed by the Division of Fresh Products of Jingdong Mall, that is, fresh, green & environment-friendly, and creative carton outer packaging, and, from solution matching to the kickoff meeting, it went through roughly a month. A dozen of representatives from the Warehousing Planning Department, the Division of Purchase & Sales of Fresh Products and fresh product brands of Jingdong Mall attended the on-site meeting, and the packaging team provided a total of 12 solutions for the packaging of fresh fruits. In particular, with regard to the innovation and creativity of the carton packaging used by Jingdong Mall, the technical experts present at the afternoon session put forward their customized carton packaging solutions, which filled the mind of the purchasers and marketers from the Division of Fresh Products with visions, ideas and interest. Some solutions were carried into the substantial launching negotiation stage.

Jingdong Mall has highly affirmed the achievements of this on-site meeting. Based on the past successful cooperation between Jingdong Mall and M.Success Media Group (the e-commerce packaging improvement solution targeting the leakage problem of Jingdong’s body & care products was also developed with the assistance of M.Success Media Group), they plan to engage in deeper discussions about the topic of e-commerce packaging, and present the 1st E-commerce Packaging Innovation Competition. It is also their plan to exhibit excellent works on August 29-31 at the E-Commerce Packaging & Logistics Technology Expo (ECPAKLOG) sponsored by M.Success Media Group, and to organize the Warehousing Planning Department, the Division of Purchase & Sales and other departments of Jingdong Mall as well as its suppliers to participate in the expo.
